Fine Arts Instruction Through History
As a supplemental home school program for ages 5 - 18, each year we teach a time period of history (in a six year rotation) through a very hands-on approach exposing the students to the history, art, drama, science, and music of that time period. Classes change every semester to give students an opportunity to try new things. The students choose which electives to take based on their interests.
Our youngest students, ages 5- 7, stay in a self-contained class which provides exposure to all the elements - history, art, music, science and drama.
Please understand that FAITH Academy is a program for all home school students -- NOT just those gifted in the arts. There is something to be learned by all ages & skill levels. It's through FAITH's hands - on, whole immersion teaching style that students learn .... and frequently discover a new interest, talent or ability. We believe that since we are created in the image of God, and He is a creator, that we all have a creative nature. It takes different avenues with different people. However, we believe it should all be to the glory of God!
